Properly trained and educated employees, customers, and end-users mean a healthier organization, better bottom line and safer practices. Employee training is mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and other groups. Propane marketers are considered experts in their trade and, as such, must also ensure that their customers are adequately educated and warned.

 

With that in mind, the Education and Safety Committee of the Tennessee Propane Gas Association has provided the below training schedule for 2010. These classes are open to all propane companies in the state at no cost.

NFPA 54 & NFPA 58 Codes Training – This course will review the latest edition of NFPA 54 & NFPA 58. Instructor Terry Boyer, Boyer Safety Service.

 

HM 126/232 – Please remember that all employees are required to have this training within 90 days of employment, when a new hazard is introduced or when the employee’s job function changes.  Employees must receive a recurrent training once every 3 years. Instructor Terry Boyer, Boyer Safety Service.

All classes will start at 8:30 AM. Lunch will be provided at each class. Please check each class each student will be attending and fill out the below information. Return a separate registration form for each student (please make copies if more than one student will participate).
